In 2003, Paul Patterson purchased a small acreage near Cremona, Alberta.  He spent the next year combing Alberta and British Columbia for reclaimed Douglas Fir and, in 2004, fulfilling a lifelong dream, he started construction on a unique, sustainable home for his wife and five children. He utilized reclaimed Douglas fir on this project, for the post and beam structure, the floors, the stairs, and extensive trim work. Upon the house’s completion, Paul set his shop and tools to new projects, developing his skills in making rustic furniture for his friends and family.

In 2018, Paul and his son, Aaron, incorporated to create FirEver Inc.

As a child, Aaron loved spending time with his father in the wood-shop, and, as soon as he was old enough to handle tools, he took to woodworking and it became his favorite hobby. By his early teens, he was regularly designing and creating his own solid wood works of art.

Paul and Aaron have recently completed renovations on a historic building dating back to the 1930s, in Cremona, Alberta.

We offer sofa sets and wooden furniture upon request. Please note that custom requests will vary according to our stock and the natural colour and contour of the wood itself.
